Mikayla's First Cookies

Mikayla made her first batch of Milk Chocolate Chip Cookies today....and the dough was yummy! She rolled the dough in her hands, instead of dropping it by teaspoonful onto the pan.....these in the picture are quite small..compared to the others she made.....

Anyone want a Chocolate Chip Cookie Cake~Or Chocolate Chip Cookie Squares? lol

As her mother and fellow cook...I had tried to convince her that her recipe needed a little more flour....and that she might want to reduce the size of her "dough balls" but sometimes I have to take a step back..and let her learn on her own :) Lesson Learned!!!
Mikayla has a few words to say about her first cookie making experience......

"Have fun making cookies....next time instead of making really big balls...I should just spread all the cookie dough out on the pan....or just listen to my Mom..." Ahhhh words of wisdom :)
