Looking Back @ 2009

WOW! 2009 flew by! Here's a look at our year!
*JANUARY*
Hannah turned a darling 9!
Karen celebrated 36 years!
We remodeled our kitchen and 3 bathrooms!
(i had no idea we had THAT much stuff in our cupboards)
Porter was sick with strep.

*FEBRUARY*
Deric attended NAPE in Texas
Dad dressed up as Lincoln and visited Hannah's School.
Porter named Presidents Day "Hallolincoln Day"
Karen, Porter and Mikayla were sick with strep!
Mikayla practiced for school play

*MARCH*
Tyson and Mikayla attended the Draper Temple Open House!
Made a trap for a very tricky leprechaun and woke to find golden treats and green milk and toilet water!
Found a really cute costume for Mikayla to play Tinkerbell in the play
Mikayla is WONDERFUL in the Between the Lines play!

*APRIL*
Mikayla met with the best ENT
Karen enjoyed a spa day with good friend Carol
Annual Easter Egg Hunt and Weenie Roast
Spring Break
Deric and I suprised our kids with a trampoline for Easter!
Mikayla says goodbye to her tonsils! LONG recovery :(

*MAY*
Tyson turned 15!
Yummy Mother's Day Dinner @ Troy/Melanies
Elaine and I took a trip to St George for Kandace Graduation
I took the kids and Elaine to St George for Kandace's Graduation but only Elaine went to the actual ceremony! (it was at 8am!)
Elementary Dance Festival
Porter "graduated" from pre-school
Mikayla graduated from 6th Grade


*JUNE*
Bought a pool pass!
ZOO Trip!
Thanksgiving Point and saw the movie UP!
Strawberry Days! We went to the carnival with cousins from Denver!
Hannah and her cousin told the cops that they were lost.
Huck Finn Day Tyson caught lots of fish!
We laughed at Ila holding a wiggly fish.
First time at Girls Camp for Mikayla

*JULY*
Stadium of Fire w/Jonas Bros (Hannah was in LOVE)
Deric and Karen Celebrate 17yrs!
Peterson Reunion
24th of July Breakfast @ Dennys
Deric drove in Fairview Demolition Derby

*AUGUST*
Rented a camping trailer and attended the Cousins Reunion with Elaine & Bruce in Idaho (lots of fun)
7-Peaks w/Melanie and kids
Dinner with Elkington sisters @ PF CHANGS
Deric rode in Juab County Fair Demo Derby
Deric turned 39!
Rented Cotton Candy Machine and Blow Up Slide for a Going Away Party!
Lunch w/ friends to say "see ya soon" to our friend Alaine
My good friend Alaine and her family moved to Florida :(
School started

*SEPTEMBER*
Porter started Pre-School with cousin Braxton!
(we tried morning pre-school for the first time!)
Drew names for Christmas (Bezzant side lol)
My baby boy Porter turned 5!
Went to General Womens Conference with Mom and Sisters! Dinner @ Mi Ranchito
Met with Insurance guy
Hannah joined Drama Club

*OCTOBER*
finally got insurance!
5th Karen has bronchitis
Bought an English Pointer puppy
Mikayla 13th Bday
19th Karen sick with pnuemonia
(can i just say it SUCKS to be sick all month?)
Porter sick with bronchitis
24th Tyson sick with strep throat
had the worst headache of his life
Halloween party at Lisa's!

*NOVEMBER*
Karen had the flu! grrrr!
(this was supposed to be MY month)
New Moon on Opening Night w/my girls,good friend Britny,Mom and sisters!

Mikayla Choir Concert
14th Bezzant Christmas Party
15th Our puppy Millie died.
19th Shelley Christmas Party
21st Porter has bronchitis again!
Mikayla appt with Rhumetologist (7 hours later...)
Britny took me EVERYWHERE to finish Christmas Shopping!

What a year! We are looking forward to 2010!
