UpDaTe

Howdy!
We are LOVING our Summer! It has been filled with friends, long days at the swimming pool, riding bikes, scooters and roller blades, Demolition Derbys and ONE of us got to go on a MONTH long vacation!
Here are a few highlights of our summer =)
#1 Mikayla spent a MONTH (well pretty much a month..June 30th-July 27th) with our good friends Tim and Alaine Richards and their darling family in Florida! While she was there they took a family trip to Georgia, North Carolina and Washington D.C. !!! Can you say LUCKY GIRL?
#2 Tyson got his driving permit...and passed the road test with flying colors! He will finally be able to get his license at the end of October! He loves to be my "driver"....and I am loving it too =)
#3 I am having more "good days" and I am so excited!
#4 Deric drove his "derby car" in the Demolition Derby on July 24th and WON the WIPEOUT! There were 21 other cars in the "heat" and he walked away with $500 bucks and a trophy! (we LOVED everyone who came to support Deric and owe a special thanks to Kenny Hill for his awesomeness!)
#5 Hannah LOVED being the only girl for a month and we had alot of Mommy-Daughter time together!
#6 Porter is a total FISH in the water, a daredevil on his bike...and learned to rollerblade this summer! He even tried out his heeleys for the first time!
#7 Lori, Ila and Emmy came to visit from Arizona and we had LOTS of fun with them while they were here! (I miss u guys...sniff sniff)
#8 My niece Abbey turned 8, got her ears pierced, and was baptized! She had a super fun water party for her bday and looked angelic on her special day!
#9 Me, my sisters and my friends have discovered some FUN new stores to shop at!
#10 One of my FAV things about THIS summer is how free we are to do what we want...when we want! yeah for NO SCHEDULE!!!
