Deric was in the first "Heat" of the Demolition Derby and did FANTASTIC! His car ran GREAT....and he was a top two finalist! For that he got a BIG trophy and 200 dollars :) We were yelling and cheering for him the whole time! Tyson was in HEAVEN because he got to help his Dad build the car, and also be in the "pit crew"! Porter is convinced that HIS cheering made his Daddy win! lolDeric made it to the Finals...and did really well.......UNTIL.......he was called out on a "drivers door hit" that he DID NOT DO! I need to find that picture and post it....we have it on video AND photo that Deric hit the guy in the back bumper...no where near the drivers door! (he was innocent i say....innocent)
Deric was furious and we were all frustrated :( We were ALL very proud of Deric and had a great time watching him! Lots of family and friends came to see him and cheer him on!
Can't wait for next year!
